Had a good time with all involved, tried out a new guitar rig which seems to be the business - sorry, Orange AD30, you're gonna have to go so I can buy a Sovtek Mig 50 -  and saw the street punk sludge-fest from Last Call before I had to ski-daddle, so I didn't see The Pints. But, fun was had, and hopefully someone out there saw us who hadn't before and dug on our shit. Hopefully. Thanks for the night, whoever put it together - still a mystery, really.
Later in the weekend Nick 'n I started some rough shots for a video - or videos - which we're hoping to do over the next few months. Mucked around with green screen crazy shit for a little, ran down some dodgy Footscray alleys. Y'know - the usual... The playing times and line-up have been all up in the air for weeks - so here's the low-down. It's us with The Divebombers, Last Call, and The Pints. So, if you like your Rock served up hot, with a twist of Punk, you'll be doing yourself a solid if you come down to Pony on Friday 6th May. I said 7th in the last post too, just to be clear that I've had so little info on this one for so long.

The next show is at......Pony, again. This time - 7th of May -  with a bunch of young punks, or something. I'm a little vague on details, but will make it known when I have the details in my scabbed old hands. (Lately, sharp tools haven't been kind to me.)
Also of some limited interest - we have signed up on Bandcamp, so we can flog our music and t-shirts to the masses. Watch this space....

I know, usually that term is used for cinematic masterpieces, but we're transcending mediums here, so this restriction is irrelevant. We'll probably whip out some tasty cover songs soon, too. In other news, with not the least importance is that we will be starting to scratch out some demos, with the intent to record and release something grand by next summer. You better believe it will tear your face off at a hundred metres (a phrase that doesn't quite have the same ring in metrics...) with Jim behind the kit. We might sell full-face helmets with this one. Also had the pleasure of watching Cherrywood, The Jacks and Chaos Kids. Missed the Ramshackle Army allegedly 'coz I was drunk and needed a lift home..... grabbed a Chaos Kids 45 on the way out at least. We play at The Vic Hotel (380 Victoria St, Brunswick) on sunday at about 4.30 - during the Sydney Rd Festival, and you know that makes for a good enough reason to get off your arse and crawl over to the inner north. Not to mention the other kick-arse bands on the bill. Great venue, but average line-up. Ah well, you take the good with the bad. This weekend is gonna take the cake, for sure. QOTSA tomorrow night, Soundwave (I know, a lot of average shite on the bill, but there's some gold this year...) on Friday, put the feet up and the head under a pillow on saturday, then blow your minds on sunday. And, maybe we might be chuckin' a Subs special and filling in last-minute the following weekend. Maybe, maybe not, we'll see.....Also in the pipeline is an early March show in a mystery location in an inner-northern suburb, maybe..... Could be we're doin' lots in the next few weeks, could be we're not.
